Lola Elizabeth Coplan, known to many as Grams, was born on March 9, 1931, and passed away on December 26, 2025.
She married John “Gene” Coplan on March 14, 1948 in Industry. He passed away on June 10, 1992.
Lola loved Jesus, her family, the Green Bay Packers, and ice cream. Her home was always open, and her cookie jar was always full. Her faith and love for others were at the center of her life.
She was the mother of five children: Vicky (Ken) Harp, Connie (special friend, Bill Trotter) Vance, Michael (Jane) Coplan, David (Marlene) Coplan, and Lynnette (Mike) Roberts. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, with one more expected, and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Lola was also the sister of twelve siblings.
Lola was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daugh ter, Vicky Harp, nine siblings, and three siblings in infancy.
She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Macomb.
Lola will be remembered for her strong faith, kind heart, and deep love for her family.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home in Macomb with Pastor Don Long, Jr officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oak wood Cemetery in Macomb.
