On Friday, Dec. 19, Nicholas Severs of Macomb became an official member of the Illinois State Police (ISP) Troop 4.
Severs was among 21 new troopers graduating from the ISP Cadet Class 151 Friday in Springfield.
Along with Severs, also joining Troop 4, which covers several counties including McDonough, are Colin Donovan and Brock Landis. They began their work assignments Dec. 21, according to a release from the Illinois State Police.
'I am proud to congratulate each member of Cadet Class 151 on their graduation, and I commend their enduring commitment the people of our great state,'
