The WIRC team of staff and volunteers were busy distributing gifts to 497 children in McDonough County who are enrolled in the WIRC Project Santa program.
Of course, this doesn't count the efforts transporting gifts to 261 children in other program counties.
Project Santa is supported through community donations and local grants. Each child received approximately $125 of gifts, including clothing. Thanks to those generous donors, over 700 children will have smiles on their faces this holiday season.
