The West Prairie High School boys basketball team got back in the win column Monday evening, rolling to a 72-46 victory over West Central at the United Holiday Tournament.
Braden Coplan topped West Prairie with 29 points, along with four steals, four rebounds and three assists.
Eli DeCounter narrowly missed posting a double-double, finishing with 12 points and nine rebounds. He also had three assists and two steals.
Ryan Clark also reached double figures for the victors, recording 11 points, along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Holden Coplan added nine points, four assists and two steals for West Prairie, while Brody Cordell scored six points.
Austin Nelson finished with four points and three rebounds, while Jy’Aire Flora-Dunham chipped in a free throw to round out the Cyclone scoring.
West Prairie defeated Knoxville on Wednesday evening 59-29, improving to 7-4 on the season.
No other details were available prior to deadline. The Dec. 13 tournament games against Geneseo and Ridgewood were canceled due to the weather and will not be rescheduled.
The Cyclones wrap up tournament play Friday with the JV and varsity squads facing host United.
