• The 2025 Department of Art Holiday Sale will be held December 15-17 from 10am-6pm at the WIU Union-Brittain Lounge. Featuring original works of ceramics, prints, jewelry, photography and more. A portion of the proceeds provide financial support for the students.
• Santa Claus is Coming to Heritage Tractor on December 16 from 4-7pm! Get into the holiday spirit with a family-friendly evening of Christmas cheer at Heritage Tractor! Support Toys for Tots: While the event is free, consider bringing a new, unwrapped toy for our Toys for Tots drop-off box to help bring joy to local children this Christmas.
• Faith Church in Macomb will host a Kids Christmas Party on December 18 at 4pm.
• Grand Prairie will hold their resident and family Christmas Partywith Santa, snacks and fun on December 18 at 2pm.
• Come and Paint with the Clauses at The Crafty Coop on December 19 from 5:30-7:30pm. Reservations are required, space is limited.
• Santa is making a few special trips to Macomb before Christmas! Stop by the City Hall Community Room at 232 E Jackson Street on Fri. Dec 19 from 6:00pm-7:00pm or Sat. Dec 20 from 2:00pm - 3:30pm to visit with Santa.
• Do you have all your Christmas gifts bought? Now it’s time to wrap! Don’t stress this year stop by St. Francis Newman Center, 1401 W. University, on December 20 from 10am-2pm and let Big Brothers Big Sisters wrap your gifts. You pick the paper, bow and more! All proceeds go to our “Warmth for Youth” service project, where they spread comfort one blanket at a time for youth in foster care.
• Do you need a little “Me Time” to finish up last minute shopping while your kids have a blast? Bring them to the Bushnell VFW for Drop and Shop Movie Night on Saturday, December 20 from 6-10pm. It will be an exciting night of movies, fun and laughter! We will have pizza for the kids and a night of fun. Cost is $10 per kid.
• HyVee-Breakfast with the Grinch at Hy-Vee on Saturday, December 20 from 8–11am. Join us for a mischievous morning with the Grinch!
