The Macomb High boys swim team opened its 2025-26 season Saturday, hosting its annual invitational meet at the MHS Pool.
The Bombers finished ninth out of 12 teams with 44 points.
Normal Community High captured the team title with a score of 279 points.
Springfield High was second with 213 points, followed by Chatham-Glenwood
(205), Metamora Co-op (139), Dunlap (125), Rock Island (83), Peoria Notre Dame (80), Moline (76) and MHS.
Following the Bombers in the team standings were Geneseo (27), Jacksonville (17) and PORTA Co-op (14).
