In January 2019, Memorial Bricks were added to the South Side of Chandler Park near the Ruth Watts Memorial Fountain. This was done to honor and more permanently memorialize a McDonough County Honorably discharged deceased veteran.
If a family member or friend would like to honor a deceased veteran by purchasing a brick please contact Marcia LeFante (309 255-1233) or Donna McCaw (309 221-3842). The application process requires a payment of $100.00. Bricks purchased at this time will be placed prior to Memorial Day.
