• WIRC Project Santa Toy Drive is accepting new, unwrapped toys for all ages. Toys may be dropped off at Mc-Donough Power Cooperative by December 11.
• Faith Church in Macomb will hold a Men’s Christmas Party on Thursday, December 11 at 6pm.
• MHS Spanish Club presents Kids Holiday Fun Night on Friday, December 12 from 6:30-8:30pm for kids grades K-5. Kids will have an opportunity to learn about Spanish culture, do a variety of holiday activities and have lots of fun! Cost is $10/ child.
• Step into the story like never before! Join Wesley United Methodist Church on Friday, December 12 at 6:30pm in the Atrium for an unforgettable Interactive Movie Night featuring The Muppet Christmas Carol. Every guest will receive a movie interaction bag packed with fun props and surprises to use at special moments throughout the film—so you can laugh louder, cheer bigger, and fully join the Muppets in bringing this Christmas classic to life! Free and open to all! Bring your family, friends, and neighbors for a joyful, hands-on holiday experience you won’t want to miss.
• Pet Supplies Plus Jolly Jubilee Festival will take place December 13 from 12-2pm. There will be a holiday photo op, free pup cups, free paw print activity, free samples and local shelters will be there. Spend $30 on toys and treats and get a free gift!
• Bloom Macomb will be celebrating their first anniversary on December 15 from 5-7pm with music, refreshments and this holiday season they will be giving $2 to spend in the store for any two shelf-stable food items dropped off (all proceeds will be donated to local food pantries).
• The 2025 Department of Art Holiday Sale will be held December 15-17 from 10am-6pm at the WIU Union-Brittain Lounge. Featuring original works of ceramics, prints, jewelry, photography and more. A portion of the proceeds provide financial support for the students.
• Santa Claus is Coming to Heritage Tractor on December 16 from 4-7pm! Get into the holiday spirit with a family-friendly evening of Christmas cheer at Heritage Tractor! Support Toys for Tots: While the event is free, consider bringing a new, unwrapped toy for our Toys for Tots drop-off box to help bring joy to local children this Christmas.

University, on December 20 from 10am-2pm and let Big Brothers Big Sisters wrap your gifts. You pick the paper, bow and more! All proceeds go to our “Warmth for Youth” service project, where they spread comfort one blanket at a time for youth in foster care.
