Blandinsville First Christian Church After School Program for Kindergarten through High School students from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
SATURDAYS Life Skills Program
Blandinsville First Christian Church Life Skills Program for 5th grade through High School students from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon on the third Saturday of each month.
Story Hour and Crafts
Saturdays at The Blandinsville-Hire Library at 10 AM.
Snacks will be available. Check out the many new kids and young adult books. Spend some time at the library and take a book home to read!
SUNDAY Youth Group
Blandinsville First Christian Church Youth Group for 5th grade through High School students from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm.
Bushnell SATURDAY, DEC. 6 VFW Breakfast with Santa
serving from 7-10 a.m at the Post 1422 Hall located at 181 E. Hail in Bushnell. Santa will greet the children beginning at 8:00 am. Children will eat for free. Providing on-site, takeout, and curb service - for takeout and curb service please call 309-333-9919. We are serving biscuits and gravy, sausage, eggs, hash browns, pancakes and French Toast.
Bushnell Public Library Story/Craft Event
from 10:30- 11:30 at the Bushnell Public Library. The story will be ‘If I lived in a snow Globe’ and the craft will be a Snow Globe.
Christmas Light Parade
The City of Bushnell Lights Parade will start at 6pm. If you would like to be in the parade, line up at the Bushnell High School at 5:30pm (anything may be entered).

SUNDAY, DEC. 7 VFW Holiday Craft Show at the Bushnell VFW from 12-4pm. There will be crafts, Scentsy, chocolate bombs, baked goods, jewelry and more!
Christmas Extravaganza Noon-4pm downtown Bushnell- Ernie the train & horse drawn carriage rides, sign up for drawings and visit Santa in the Depot. No Tax at participating businesses

THURSDAY, DEC. 11 Holiday Wrap It Up! Workshop
at the Colchester District Library at 10am. Personalize your gifts by wrapping with flair, folding boxes for a polished look, and making eye-catching bows. Presented by Judy Sullivan.

FRIDAY, DECEMBER 12 Christmas Around the Prairie Come celebrate Christmas Around the Prairie in Colchester.
There will be an Open House, soup supper, light parade and Santa and Mrs. Clause at the Lion’s Club and so much more!

Woodrum Ford/Toyota and Bougher, Krishner & Clark need your help to Fill the Trucks with new, unwrapped toys and non-perishable food items. All items donated will go to Toys for Tots of West Central Illinois and the Good Food Pantry. In conjunction with the McDonough County Bar Association.
North Pole Square McDonough District Hospital will be hosting the North Pole Square, the cost is $10/family and will feature crafting stations, “reindeer snacks”, hot cocoa, face painting and family pictures for $10. They will also be collecting for the Teddy Bear Drive and are encouraging people to bring in or drop off teddy bears for the Pediatric unit.

Friends of the Library Special Book Sale held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Library at the Library Annex, 109 E. Jefferson St. This sale features Non Fiction, History/ Biography, Cookbooks, Religion, Wellness as well as CDs, DVDs and audio books. Book and media donations will be accepted during the sale.
WIU Holiday Festival of Choirs 2pm & 7pm at the Wesley United Methodist Church
