Celebrating the final weeks of the 2025 fall semester, the Western Illinois University Art Gallery will host a BFA exhibition for student Andrew (Droopy) Tomlinson, starting Tuesday, December 2, with a reception on the same day from 4:30 to 6 p.m., featuring the artist speaking at 5 p.m.
A senior art major, Tomlinson’s solo collection of images will remain on display until Wednesday, December 17. Additionally, at the University Gallery, the 2025 “Talent Grant/Tuition Waiver” exhibition is available for viewing until Friday, December 12. At the ANNEX Gallery (located across the street from the University Art Gallery on the ground floor of the Heating Plant), Chicago artist Ann Blaas’ “True Nature” exhibition is still on view until Friday, December 5.
All three exhibits are free and open to the public. The University Art Gallery, located at 1 University Circle in Macomb, is open from 9 a.m. to noon, then 1 to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, and from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturdays.
