Memorial Hospital is proud to announce the following Summit Award winners: Tasha Koehler, Tonya Dooley, Theresa Klossing, and Memorial Medical Clinic Colchester. These award winners were selected at this year’s recent Custom Learning Systems (CLS) Conference at the Galveston Island Convention Center in Galveston, Texas.
The Summit Award is presented to qualified, innovative, and progressive individuals, teams, and healthcare facilities that have made outstanding progress toward improving patient and staff experiences. Individuals, teams, or organizations must be nominated to be eligible for a Summit Award.
Tasha Koehler, Executive Director of Clinic Operations, received the Summit Award in recognition of her role as an Empowering Manager. Koehler was nominated by her peers for her encouraging and empowering leadership style. Known for consistently going above and beyond, Koehler demonstrates exceptional leadership skills that positively influence the organization.
Tonya Dooley, Physical Therapist at Memorial Hospital, received the Summit Award for Service Excellence Ambassador. Dooley was recognized by her peers for being a positive role model. Her approachable demeanor, willingness to answer questions, and her ever-present friendly smile exemplify the spirit of service excellence.
Theresa Klossing, Medical Records Specialist, received the Summit Award for Exceptional Implementation Coordinator. In her role as an Implementation Coordinator at Memorial Hospital, Klossing is committed to leading the Service Excellence Initiative™ (SEI) across the organization. The SEI is a structured, multi-year process designed to strengthen Service Excellence by fostering a culture of exceptional service, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Klossing’s dedication is paired with her organizational skills, which help keep staff aligned and focused on the shared goal of maintaining a five-star status in patient satisfaction and ensuring the organization continues to grow in its culture of excellence.
Memorial Medical Clinic Colchester was honored with the Clinic of Choice Award for outstanding patient care. Through the SEI, the clinic has created a unified culture marked by exceptional teamwork and empowered staff.
