Bombers Earn LincolnLand All-Conference Honors

The LincolnLand Large School Division has announced its all-conference football selections that include a number of Macomb High Bombers.

Junior Drake May was a two-way first team selection at the offensive skill position (running back) and as a linebacker on defense.

He was also named the division's Defensive Player of the Year.

Other first team selections for the Bombers included the following: Offense

Skill – Drew Watson, senior Line – Charlie Bodiford, junior Kicker – Hayden Katz, junior Second team selections for Macomb included the following: Offense

Line – Will Thomas, junior

Line – Blaze Howell, junior and Thomas Linebackers – Nolan Hoge, senior and Jeshua McPheeters, junior Backs – Watson; Kyler Norton, junior and Carter Havens, junior Honorable mention selections for Macomb included the following: Offense

Quarterback – Carson Noy, Farmington, freshman Skill – Jack Gronewold, Farmington, senior (unanimous); Isaiah Knotts, Illini West, senior; Brydon Walters, Knoxville, senior; Chandler Dadant, West Hancock, junior and Hunter Froman, WH, junior Gronewold was also named the division’s Offensive Player of the Year.
