• Letters containing hearsay, rumors, personal attacks, name-calling or anything that could be considered defamation, slander or libel will not be published.
• Letters attacking individuals without supporting documentation and legally defensible justification will not be printed.
• The Community News Brief reserves the right to edit or refuse letters.
• Letters must be submitted electronically to [email protected] or dropped off at 13 E. Side Square.
• Letters are limited to a maximum of 500 words.
Letters exceeding 500 words could be edited/may not be published in their entirety.
• Letters to the Editor must include: Full name (include a signature if possible); mailing address; phone number and email. Your email, address and phone number will not be printed.
