ROBIN’S
Hello Friends!
It’s here – Thanksgiving!! The opportunity to get together with friends and family and share with them your day of thanks! Good food, better company and the opportunity to share your love and kindness without having to do much more than provide a place to gather, have a good meal – maybe some football and parades on television and then the nap to wrap it all up! Our hope is that you get this opportunity – however big or small your gathering may be, and just enjoy your time together. All of us need this time to catch our breath before the zing of the Christmas season is in full force.
Coming up fast will be the Christmas Light Parade, December 6th! Get your ideas formed and your game plan laid out to dazzle us with your creativity in the parade! It may be cold, or colder or a mild winter night – and hopefully light snow falling for ambiance! Let’s make this one the best one yet! And I know Santa will make an appearance to kick off the Christmas season!

A good reminder to us all, through all the hustle and bustle going on with us and around us, is to be kind and give grace whenever you can. The holiday season can bring so much joy to so many of us, but often we all know someone who is struggling with things we know nothing about. Their holiday season may not look like those in the past and they are having a hard time dealing with guilt and sadness that are hard to shake even with the joy all around them.
“The most important decision you make every day is to be in a good mood. Attitude, to me is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearances, giftedness, or skill. It will make or break a company – a church – a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for the day. We cannot change our past – we cannot change the fact that people will act a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable the only thing we can do is play on the one strong we have, and that is attitude. Life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it. And so it is with you – we are in charge attitudes.” Author unknown Stay safe and kind - Robin
