TUESDAY After School Program Blandinsville First Christian Church After School Program for Kindergarten through High School students from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

SATURDAYS Life Skills Program Blandinsville First Christian Church Life Skills Program for 5th grade through High School students from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon on the third Saturday of each month.

Story Hour and Crafts Saturdays at The Blandinsville-Hire Library at 10 AM.

Snacks will be available. Check out the many new kids and young adult books. Spend some time at the library and take a book home to read!

Friends Feeding Friends invites all to join from 4:30-6:30pm for ham, side dishes and dessert at the “Thankful It’s Not Turkey” meal at the Community Christian Center, 355 W. Main St.

SATURDAY, DEC. 6 VFW Breakfast with Santa

serving from 7-10 a.m at the Post 1422 Hall located at 181 E. Hail in Bushnell. Santa will greet the children beginning at 8:00 am. Children will eat for free. Providing on-site, takeout, and curb service - for takeout and curb service please call 309-333-9919. We are serving biscuits and gravy, sausage, eggs, hash browns, pancakes and French Toast.

Christmas Light Parade begins at 6pm - line up at the B-PC high school

Washington between S. Randolph & S. Campbell). You'll find fresh local produce; homemade baked goods; local honey, jam, & syrup; ready-to-eat meals; locally produced personal care products; hand-crafted goods made by local artisans; and much more! (Next month's Winter Market will be held on Dec. 13.)

FRIDAY, DEC. 5 Fill the Trucks - Food & Toy Drive

Woodrum Ford/Toyota and Bougher, Krishner & Clark need your help to Fill the Trucks with new, unwrapped toys and non-perishable food items. All items donated will go to Toys for Tots of West Central Illinois and the Good Food Pantry. In conjunction with the McDonough County Bar Association.

North Pole Square McDonough District Hospital will be hosting the North Pole Square, the cost is $10/family and will feature crafting stations, “reindeer snacks”, hot cocoa, face painting and family pictures for $10. They will also be collecting for the Teddy Bear Drive and are encouraging people to bring in or drop off teddy bears for the Pediatric unit.
