DAVE SAYS: Lack of Knowledge, Immaturity or Worse?
Dear Dave,
My girlfriend and I have been dating seriously for a little over a year. We’re both 28, and I know I love her, but there’s something that worries me. She’s very smart, but at the same time, she’s not very responsible with money. I know that no one is perfect, but sometimes she’ll get behind on her bills in order to do things like buying clothes or going to concerts. How should I approach talking to her and explaining my concern about this? I’d like to ask her to marry me sometime next year.— Lincoln Dear Lincoln,
