-Hy-Vee Veterans Day Breakfast In honor of Veterans Day, Hy-Vee will host a free dine-in breakfast on Tuesday, Nov. 11, from 6 to 10 a.m. for all retired and active-duty military personnel. Plus, veterans and activeduty military personnel get 15% off their groceries on Nov. 11 in store or online.
-Cards for Veterans Kids are invited to create cards thanking local veterans for their service at Macomb Hy-Vee Saturday, Nov. 11 from 10am-1pm. All supplies are provided- just bring your smile and creativity!
-Macomb American Legion Dinner The Macomb American Legion invites all post members and their spouses to an Appreciation Dinner on Tuesday, Nov. 11 at 5:30pm. Dinner will be followed by an awards ceremony for 50, 60 & 70 year members. Spouses and caregivers are welcome. 2025-2026 dues can be paid at the door.For questions call 309-833-2951 after 2pm.
-Bushnell VFW The Bushnell VFW will hold a Veterans Day dinner to honor our Veterans on Tuesday, Nov. 11 from 4-7pm. They will be serving roasted turkey, baked ham, dressing, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, rolls and pie. Veterans Day at the Bushnell Public Library Join the Bushnell Public Library this Veterans Day Tuesday, Nov. 11 for A Slice of Gratitude — honoring those who have served our country. Come share stories, enjoy a slice of homemade pie, and connect with friends, neighbors, and local veterans from 3:00 – 4:30 PM. Everyone is welcome as we listen, share, and say a heartfelt thank you to the heroes in our community.
