Prairieland All-Conference Volleyball Teams Announced

Players from Macomb High, West Prairie and Bushnell-Prairie City were among those selected to the 2025 Prairieland Conference South Division All-Conference volleyball team.

The selections were made by the league’s coaches.

Six players were named to this year’s first team, with four earning the honor by unanimous vote.

West Prairie senior setter Madelyn Sullivan was a unanimous selection representing the Cyclones.

This season, Sullivan recorded 578 setting assists, 233 digs and 85 kills.

She had a 92 percent serving efficiency, recording 201 points and 42 service aces, leading the Cyclones in both categories.

Sullivan also reached the 2,000 set assist milestone for her career during this season.

Also receiving unanimous honors was Macomb High freshman Jersee Mills.

She finished the season with 115 kills that included a .168 hitting percentage.

Mills also recorded 45 service aces, 47 total blocks and 213 digs.

Another first team selection for the Bombers was senior Jordan Hines.

Hines recorded 189 kills with a .117 hitting percentage during the season.

The senior also added 274 digs, 46 blocks and 30 service aces for MHS.

Havana senior Kaydi Miller and Illini West senior Kennedy Gunning were also unanimous first team selections.

Rounding out the first team was South Fulton junior Olivia Dawson.

Eight players received second team honors.

Macomb High senior Cadence Hotz recorded 145 kills with a .180 hitting percentage. She also added a team-leading 90 total blocks for the Bombers.

Two players from West Prairie also earned second team honors.

Senior Alexa Barkley posted 163 kills, 52 digs and 35 total blocks for the Cyclones.

At the service line, Barkley had an 89 percent efficiency rating, finishing with 109 points that included 15 service aces.

Cyclone sophomore Niah Zimmerman was also a second team selection.

Zimmerman topped West Prairie with 191 kills, while also adding 196 digs.

From the service line, she added 144 points that included 19 service aces.

Rounding out the second team were Havana senior Olivia Kramer and sophomore Ava Kramer; Illini West senior Corin Robinson and junior Kennedy Artman and South Fulton senior Katie Miller.

Three players received honorable mention accolades.

That included B-PC junior Justice Klinedinst.

She finished the season with 32 kills, 109 digs and 32 service points with eight service aces for the Spartans.

Illini West juniors Anna Jacob and Alivia Frazier were also honorable mention recipients.

B-PC was also named the division’s sportsmanship award winner.

The final standings for the division were as follows: Team Div. Season Macomb 5-0 21-15 Illini West 4-1 23-13 West Prairie 2-3 20-17 Havana 2-3 14-18 South Fulton 2-3 6-20 B-PC 0-5 0-27
