The Macomb High girls swim team wrapped up the
2025 season Saturday, taking part in Illinois High School Association Sectional competition at Pekin.
The Bombers finished
11th out of 11 teams with 19 points.
The Metamora coop edged the Galesburg H.S. coop 243--226 in capturing the team title.
The Dunlap coop was third with 161 points, followed by Moline H.S. (159), Peoria Notre Dame (134), Pekin coop (107), Rock Island H.S. coop (91), Peoria Richwoods
(87), East Moline United Township coop (56), Biggsville West Central (28) and Macomb.
Results for the Bombers included the following.
One-meter diving - No entries.
200 yard medley relay MHS (Kallie Merrill, Hannah Zhang, Lucy Buchanan and Lily Goc), 10th, two minutes,

200 freestyle - Rylee Mackey, 18th, 3:06.81.
200 individual medley Goc, 13th, 3:22.34 and Ridley Lewis, 14th, 3:32.42.
50 freestyle - Merrill, 23rd,
