73, of Macon, MO
Barbara Ann Eskridge, 73, of Macon, MO passed away at 6:10 a.m. Saturday, November 1, 2025 at Lock Haven Senior Living in Macon, MO.
She was born on September 4, 1952 in Canton, IL to James and Onnalee Foote Eskridge. She is survived by her siblings, Rhonda (Bill) Hand of Excello, MO, Kathy Prather of Rushville, Brad (Marlene) Eskridge of Industry and Greg (Monica) Eskridge of Industry and several nieces and nephews.
She was preced in death by her parents and one brotherin- law, Terry Prather.
She lived in Adair for several years and was a travelling nurse for many years before moving to Cairo, Missouri.
Barbara worked as a registered nurse at McDonough District Hospital. She also worked in Home Health Care.
She enjoyed reading and knitting. She raised Great Pyreness Dogs that were in several American Kennel Club shows. She also enjoyed finding treasures at various flea markets.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A grave side service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at Industry Cemetery with Pastor Randy Burrwell officiating. There will be no visitation.
