TUESDAY After School Program Blandinsville First Christian Church After School Program for Kindergarten through High School students from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

SATURDAYS Life Skills Program Blandinsville First Christian Church Life Skills Program for 5th grade through High School students from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon on the third Saturday of each month.

Story Hour and Crafts Saturdays at The Blandinsville-Hire Library at 10 AM.

Snacks will be available. Check out the many new kids and young adult books. Spend some time at the library and take a book home to read!

SUNDAY Youth Group Blandinsville First Christian Church Youth Group for 5th grade through High School students from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm.

SATURDAY, NOV. 8 80’s & 90’s Music Trivia

Come and get your groove on at the 80’s & 90’s Music Trivia at the Bushnell VFW at 6pm to benefit the Bushnell Pool. Organize your teams now! $10/player or $100/table (10 players max). Register early by emailing bushnellpool61422@yahoo. com. Food will be available for purchase or bring your own snacks, silent auction & prizes, 50/50 drawing and music by DJ Dan Shipman.

SATURDAY, NOV. 15 Christmas Trivia Night

The Bushnell Rotary Club will host the 4th Annual Christmas Trivia Night on Saturday, November 15th at the VFW. In addition to the trivia contest, there will be a 50/50 raffle and a silent auction. Look for posters around town for more details. All proceeds will go toward BPC senior scholarships. If you would like to donate an item for the silent auction, it may be dropped off at Vintage Connection 438 E. Hurst, Bushnell.

TUESDAY, NOV. 25 Friends Feeding Friends Community Meal Friends Feeding Friends invites all to join from 4:30-6:30pm for ham, side dishes and dessert at the “Thankful It’s Not Turkey” meal at the Community Christian Center, 355 W. Main St.

FRIDAY, NOV. 7 Curious George at the Colchester Library at 10am. Get ready for a wildly fun time! Bring the kiddos for a special Storytime featuring monkey themed books, a hands-on craft and the chance to meet Curious George for photos and high-fives.

Active Older Adults Senior Expo Help at Home presents Active Older Adults Senior Expo at the McDonough County YMCA from 11:30-1pm. Come for lunch and visit with various resources in the community.

NOV. 7 - NOV. 8 VFW Distributes Poppies VFW 1921 and VFW Auxiliary 1921 members will be offering poppies at two locations - Farm King and HyVee from 9am-5pm SATURDAY, NOV. 8 Altrusa Holiday Bazaar at the Macomb High School from 9am-3pm. There is a large selection of vendors with unique crafts & gifts. There will be a 50/50 & gift basket raffle. A book donation is suggested for admission.

Pumpkin Smash at Veterans Park from 10am-1pm (rain or shine event). Bring your pumpkins for a smashing good time! All pumpkins must be contaminant free. NO candles, stickers, googly eyes, plastic, non-water based paints or non-biodegradable materials.

A Taste of Bangladesh Scholarship Dinner WIU’s Phi Beta Delta presents A Taste of Bangladesh Scholarship Dinner Fundraiser at Wesley United Methodist Church in Macomb at 6pm. Featuring authentic cuisine, entertainment and an International Marketplace. Cost: Students $10 (advanced) or $12 (at the door), Non-student $16 (advanced) or $20 (at the door), ages 6-12 $7 and under 6 are free.

Pancake and Sausage Breakfast Emmet Chalmers Firefighters Pancake and Sausage Breakfast from 7am-1pm at the Emmet Chalmers Firehouse, 3041 W.

Adams Rd. Serving pancakes, sausage, orange juice & coffee.

Cost is $9 at the door. All proceeds support the volunteer firefighters of the Emmet-Chalmers Fire Department and the community they protect.
