Jack Dunseth, the son of Jared and Carrie Dunseth, has been named the MidAmerica National Bank Senior of the Month for September 2025. Jack is very involved at school, he is a member of the Washington Leadership Conference through National FFA, National Honor Society, and MYLO.
Jack is also in the Spanish Club, Cross country track and field, and the Denmark Exchange Program. He has also been a class officer for the past four years.
Jack has earned many honors throughout his high school years, including being on the high honor roll every semester and qualifying for state in 2024 for cross country. He has also been awarded the FFA state degree and the College Board National Rural and Small-Town Recognition Award.
Community involvement is also very important to Jack.
He volunteers for Weekly Robotics at Edison School, is very involved in the Maple Avenue Christian Church where he volunteers his time during the annual Thanksgiving Meal distribution service project. In his downtime, he enjoys fishing, working out, playing basketball, watching sports, and traveling. Jack has been a lifeguard at the Macomb Country Club pool for 3 years and is the owner of a lawnmowing small business for 4 years.
Following graduation, Jack would like to attend a four year university and study Economics and Public Policy. As the September Senior of the Month, Jack was presented a cash award of $100.00 and is eligible for the Senior of the Year Award in May 2026.
