Norine Hammond Files Petitions for Reelection

On Monday morning, Republican Norine Hammond filed her petitions for re-election to the Illinois House of Representatives, representing the 94th District. She submitted more than twice the required number of signatures, a strong show of grassroots support from across western Illinois.

“Serving the people of western Illinois has been one of the greatest honors of my life,” said Hammond. “Our region represents the best of Illinois: strong families, faith, and hard work. I will continue fighting to make sure those values are heard in Springfield.”

Hammond’s strong grassroots support reflects her record of consistent conservative leadership. She has been one of the leading legislators standing up to Governor Pritzker and working to protect the rural values that define Western Illinois.

“Thank you to the Western Illinois conservatives who are standing with me against Governor Pritzker’s out-of-touch agenda and failed Chicago values,” said Hammond. “Together, we will keep fighting for our rural values: pro-life, pro-Second Amendment, pro-agriculture, and pro-America.”

As Deputy Minority Leader, Hammond has also led efforts to ensure taxpayer dollars are spent wisely and state services reach every corner of Illinois, not just Chicago. As one of the most active and accessible representatives in the state, she listens to and works directly with her constituents.

“American families are feeling the strain of higher prices, higher taxes, and government overreach,” Hammond added. “We need steady, principled leadership that puts taxpayers first and listens to you. That is the kind of leadership I will continue to deliver.”
