The 2025 season for the West Prairie and Bushnell-Prairie City High School volleyball squads came to a conclusion this week.
The teams played in the Illinois High School Association Class 1A Regional hosted by Deer Creek-Mackinaw High School in Mackinaw.
In Monday’s opening- round, No. 8 seed West Prairie defeated No. 9 seed Peoria Christian 25-15, 18-25, 25-19.
The Cyclones featured a balanced offensive attack throughout the entire match. Alyvia Barkley tallied nine kills, followed by Madison Adams and Alexa Barkley with six kills each.
Niah Zimmerman added five kills and Jaycee Reynoso four kills for West Prairie. Reynoso also recorded two total blocks.
