B-PC Clawed By Falcons In Season Finale

The Bushnell-Prairie City High School football team wrapped up its regular season Friday night, dropping a 64-20 decision to Flanagan-Cornell/Woodland at Flanagan.

B-PC finished the regular season with a final record of 1-8 overall, 1-6 in Illinois 8-Man Football Association West Division play.

FCW finished the regular season with a 6-3 overall record, 5-2 in West Division play.

The Falcons dominated the opening half, flying out to a 22-0 lead after the opening quarter before adding 30 points in the second period in building a 52-0 halftime lead.

Jonavan Harrell rushed for 75 yards on 12 carries, scoring one touchdown for the Spartans. He also completed one pass for 13 yards and added one reception for 24 yards.

Parker Guppy added 50 yards rushing on nine carries, also scoring a two-point conversion.

Kenden Hart completed both of his pass attempts for 59 and two TDs.

Charles Rudolph had a 47-yard TD reception, while Cam Shinn also had a TD reception, finishing the game with four catches for 39 yards.

Quarterback Thomas Anderson completed 4-of-15 passes for 51 yards with two interceptions.

On defense, Rudolph and Haydin Hart finished with eight total tackles each. Guppy added seven and Andre Watts had six.

Harrell and Landon Lear tallied four total tackles each. It was the final game for B-PC seniors Guppy, Phoenix Cameron, Hunter Brown and Alex Chavez.
