Halloween Fun For Everyone

Friday & Saturday, Oct. 24, 25, 31

• Bushnell Haunted House at the Pigg Farm, 20320 N. 1700th Rd in Bushnell on Oct. 10, 11, 17, 18, 24, 25 & 31 from 7-11pm. The cost is $10 and free parking and covered waiting.

Oct. 25

•The Bushnell Christian Church Fall Harvest Trunk or Treat will be held in the Church parking lot on Saturday, Oct. 25th from 4-6pm. There will be FREE hot dogs with all the toppings! Come join us for an evening full of fun!!

•Heritage Tractor Trickor- Tractor. Our version of trunk or treat: Visit your local Heritage Tractor, 11822 East 1600th Street, Macomb, in costume on Saturday, Oct. 25, from 8 a.m. to Noon for sweet treats and a FREE John Deere surprise toy!* Snap a picture of your costumed kiddos in our store for a chance to win a prize! To enter our costume contest, simply post your photo on Facebook and tag @ HeritageTractor.

• The Lamoine-Come Join us at the Lamoine for Halloween Cookies and Costumes on Saturday, Oct. 25 from 10am-12pm. Stop by for Trick-or-Treating and cooking decorating!

• Western Illinois University Trunk or Treat on Oct. 25 from 1-3pm at Q Lot, 673 W. University Dr., Macomb. There will be Trick or Treat, kids games and more!

• West Prairie #103 9th Annual Spooktacular 5K/ Fun Run will take place on Saturday, Oct. 25th, 2025. Participants are encouraged to wear costumes. Candy will be given to all children and top finishers in each category will be recognized. Registration 9am, Kids Fun Run 10am, 5K Run/Walk 10:30am.

• Grand Prairie-come on out Saturday, Oct. 25 from 5-8pm and support the Project Dance Company dancers as they host their first ever Trunk or Treat!!

• Pumpkin Scavenger Hunt Fundraiser for Evan Schmalshof for Sheriff on Oct. 25 10am-4pm- visit Evan Schmalshof for McDonough County Sheriff facebook for more information. Completed scavenger hunt swill be entered into a drawing to win 4 entries to Escape MJ’s in Macomb.

• Moon Over Macomb will be from 10am-12pm on Saturday, Oct. 25 on the Courthouse Square.

• Hy-Vee-Join us for treats, activities and spooky fun on Saturday, Oct. 25 from 10am-1pm.

Oct. 26

•Macomb VFW Trunk or Treat will be held at the Macomb VFW, 1200 E. Jefferson St. on Sunday, Oct. 26 from 1-4pm.

•NTN Bower-Trunk or Treat in the Plant 2 Parking Lot on Sunday, Oct. 26 from 4:306:30pm.

• WIU Pre-Vet Trick or Treat day fundraiser in collaboration with the Humane Society of McDonough County will be held at Spring Lake on Oct. 26 at 2pm. Help us support the WIU Pre-Vet Club with some doggone fun!

Oct. 27 *WIU Hornfield Campus will hold its Haunted Trail on Sunday, Oct. 27 from 5-9pm with the family-friendly trail open from 5-6:30pm and the “scary” trail open from 7-9pm. Tickets are $5 per person.

Oct. 29, 30, 31

• Delta Upsilon Haunted Trail, 620 Elting St., Macomb will be open from 7-10pm on Oct. 29, 30 & 31. Tickets are $7 in advance or $12 at the door Oct. 30 - 31 City of Bushnell Halloween Trick or Treat hours are Oct. 30 & Oct. 31 from 5:30 - 8:00pm. Please turn your porch light on if you would like trick or treaters.

Oct. 30

• Everly House-Come if you dare, for a safe night of Trick or Treating on Thursday, Oct. 30 from 5:30-7:30pm.

• Grand Prairie-Trick or Treating on Oct. 30 from 5-7pm. Come and show off your costumes and get some spooktacular treats!

• Prairieview Community Room-Trunk or Treat on Oct. 30 from 4:30-6:30pm come for candy, a costume parade and activities! The costume parade will begin at 4:30 at the Prairieview office and Trunk or Treat will begin at 5:30pm.

• Countryview Care Center, 400 W. Grant St. “Trunk or Treat” on Thursday, Oct. 30th for some halloween fun and don’t forget to wear your costumes! Come and see all the spooky trunks and get some candy!

• Jackson Street Market, 1601 W. Jackson, will hold their first Trunk or Treat on Thursday, Oct. 30 from 5:306:30pm. Come dressed in your Halloween costumes!

•Immanuel Lutheran Church, 906 E. Grant St., Macomb will have a Trunk or Treat on Thursday, Oct. 30 from 6-7pm. Come one come all!

• WIU Veterans Resource Center-Come and show off your costume for a Trunk or Treat on Thursday, Oct. 30 from 6-8pm. There will be treats, games and music!

Oct. 31

• The Blandinsville First Christian Church will be holding a Trunk or Treat on Oct. 31, 2025, from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm. Hot dogs, chips, hot chocolate, coffee, water, and treats will be available. There will be a fall photo backdrop for pictures. Anyone wishing to decorate a trunk and participate is welcome to set-up at 3:30 pm. Come for some good treats and great fun!

• WIU-Tri Sigma Sorority- Halloween Library at 626 W. Murray St. on Friday, Oct. 31 from 5:30-7:30pm. Free books and candy handed out by the sisters of Tri Sigma!

• East Park in Bushnell- Come and Trunk or Treat around East Park at the community Halloween Party on Friday, Oct. 31. Meet at the Depot at 5:30pm, parade starts at 6pm, trunk or treat around the park and end at the VFW for hot dogs, chips and drinks.

• Maple Avenue Christian Church will once again host the free community event... GLOW! on Friday, Oct. 31 from 5-7pm! There will be inflatables, games, (peanut free) candy, and free hot dogs, water, and chips. Children can wear their costumes. Parents need to accompany their children. Join us at 1300 Maple Avenue for loads of fun!

• The Elms invites you to Trick or Treat with their residents on Friday, Oct. 31 from 5:30-7pm. Come and put a smile on the residents’ faces as they pass out candy. It’s sure to be a scary fun time!

• Spellbound Stories-Rise of Venca on Friday, Oct. 31 at 5:30pm. A special teamv- team, Commander-format Magic: the Gathering event. Family-friendly, beginner- friendly, no entry fee and no purchase necessary. Bring Commander deck! Bring a friend! Bring a new M:tG player!

• The Western Illinois University Symphony Orchestra invites the community to a free, family-friendly Halloween concert from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 31. In addition to the concert, the event will include goody bags for all children and a Halloween costume parade, with prizes awarded to the winners. This special event offers an opportunity for audiences of all ages to enjoy an evening of spooky fun and orchestral favorites with the WIU Symphony Orchestra. • YMCA-Join us for a Post Halloween Party on Saturday, November 1 from 6-8pm. This event is free and open to the public!
