425 N. Johnson Street – Macomb, Built 1901
Construction began in the spring with the foundation being completed for this small cottage bungalow in May of 1901. The owner of this original home was John and Catherine McGuire in 1901 but by 1902 Dan and Matilda Worley were renting this home. William Spinger was the owner of this house by 1920. He was a lumber yard manager. William lived here with his wife Florence; he was 48 and she was 36 years old. Florence was born in France and spoke fluent French. This home still exists today and is owned by an out of state owner.
