Jeffry Lee, 72, of Macomb, Illinois, passed away at 12:04 a.m. on Thursday, October 9, 2025, surrounded by his family.

Born on January 10, 1953, in Macomb, he was the son of the late Jack Lee and Joanne (Downey) Anderson.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Scott Lee. Jeff enjoyed hunting, farming, and spending time at his home, which he proudly referred to as his “sanctuary.” He retired after serving as the Emmet Township Highway Commissioner for 39 years. His best job, however, was being a father and grandfather.

He is survived by his children: Travis (Jessica) Lee, Scott (Marlena) Lee, and Erin (Derek) Wiley, all of Macomb, Illinois; and Allison (Derek) Barr of Orange Park, Florida; his grandchildren: Isabelle, Jeffery, Charlotte, Claire, Olivia, Freddy, David, Natalie, and Genevieve; his sisters: Peggy Lunt of Quincy, Illinois, Jackie Carrillo of Yorkville, Illinois, Susie Ferguson of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Shelly Hoffman of Clinton, Iowa; his close cousin, Mark Roznowski; his best friend from Emmet Township, Roger Gray; and his lifelong best friend, Jimmy Buwick.
