The Macomb High girls swim team swept host Keokuk, Iowa and Centerville, Iowa in meet action on Oct. 16.
The Bombers defeated Keokuk 88-47 and Centerville
85-54.
Keokuk edged Centerville 56-52. Results for the Bombers included the following:
200-yard medley relay - MHS (Kallie Merrill, Hannah Zhang, Lucy Buchanan and Lily Goc), first, two minutes,
30.02 seconds.
200 freestyle - Ridley Lewis, third, 3:06.75 and Rylee Mackey, fourth, 3:20.62.
200 individual medley - Zhang, first, 2:47.55 and Goc, second, 3:34.87.
50 freestyle - Leah Waldrop, fourth, 48.92 and Jazmyn Nateras, fifth, 52.99.
100 butterfly - Buchanan, first, 1:18.78 and Merrill, fourth, 1:33.21.
100 freestyle - Waldrop, fourth, 1:56.54 and Nateras, fifth, 2:04.47.
500 freestyle - Goc, third,
8:08.79 and Mackey, fourth,
8:48.93.
200 freestyle relay - MHS “A” (Buchanan, Merrill, Zhang and Goc), first,

100 backstroke Buchanan, first, 1:19.07 and Merrill, second, 1:23.68.

400 freestyle relay - MHS (Waldrop, nateras, Mackey and Lewis), second, 7:03.71.
The Bombers return to action Nov. 3, hosting the PORTA coop in a meet scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m.
