The West Prairie High School varsity volleyball team wrapped up Prairieland Conference South Division play on Oct. 16, dropping a 25-22, 25-17 decision to host Illini West.
West Prairie slipped to 19-15 overall, finishing Prairieland South play with a final record of 2-3.
Illini West improved to 21-10 overall, finishing division play with a 4-1 record.

The previous evening, West Prairie dropped a South Division game at Macomb 25-9, 25-13.

West Prairie wrapped up its regular season Monday, heading to Rushville to face host Rushville-Industry (13-14).
The Cyclones begin postseason play Oct. 27 against Peoria Christian in IHSA Class 1A Regional action at Mackinaw.
