The West Prairie High School boys cross country team headed west to take part in the Charger Invite Tuesday afternoon at the Carthage Golf Course.
Ezra Bithos led the way for West Prairie, finishing third out of 32 runners. He posted a time of 17 minutes, 50 seconds for the three-mile course.
Ayden Lacey was right behind Bithos, finishing fourth in a time of 18:03.
Milo Rodeffer was 15th (20:55), while Jacob Foust finished 31st (25:40).
Collyn Forbis of Pleasant Hill won the race in a time of 17:19.
There were 21 runners in the girls race with Kaylyn Forbis of Pleasant Hill posting the winning time of 21:03.
