“ The Lightning Thief' Opens Thursday
Lightning will strike five times, as Western Illinois University’s Department of Theatre and Dance presents “The Lightning Thief” from Thursday, October 16, to Sunday, October 19. There will be three nighttime shows Thursday through Saturday at 7:30 p.m., and two matinees on Saturday, October 18, and Sunday, October 19, at 2 p.m., at the Hainline Theatre.
Adapted from Rick Riordan's book “The Lightning Thief” (directed by Lysa Fox, musical direction by Nick Miguel, and choreography by Donald Laney), Percy Jackson learns he’s more than an average teen in New York City—he’s a demigod!
