86, of Macomb
Anita “Kay” Hill, 86, of Macomb passed away at 8:06 a.m. Sunday, October 5, 2025 at Carle Methodist Medical Center in Peoria.
She was born on April 1, 1939 in Macomb to Lester Russell Riddell and Betty Jo Bible Jones. She married Jack Allan Hill on October 27, 1957 in Macomb. He survives.
She is also survived by her daughters Denise (Collin) Lucas of Yorba Linda, California and Kristi (Michael Moore) Schroeder of Davenport, Iowa; nine grandchildren, Corey (Liz) Fowler, Jonathan (Amy) Schannep, Lawson (Sarena) Fowler, Taylor (Ian) Wolfe, Erica (Nelson) Lucas, Megan (Jacob) Montgomery, Katie (Matt) Becktold, Jack Lucas and Emma (Mitchell) Schroeder; one brother, Dennis (Dolly) Riddell of Macomb; nine great-grandchildren and number ten on the way, due in January, 2026.
She was preceded in death by her parents. Kay lived in Macomb before moving to Montana for several years. She and Jack moved back to Macomb in 1965. She was a member of Macomb Beautiful and Republican Women. Kay worked for the Illinois State Police for 30 years, retiring as the District 14 Administrative Supervisor in 1999.
