Spoon River College will be offering Fiber Optics Certification courses during the month of October at the Spoon River College Community Outreach Center in Macomb. These certification courses will include the following class offerings that will prepare you for a future career in Fiber Optics!
Certified Fiber Optics Technician (CFOT) $925 $308 October 20 & 21 from 8:00am - 5:00pm October 22 8:00am-Noon Certified Fiber Optics Specialist in Testing and Maintenance (CFOS/T) $850 $283 October 22 from 1:00pm – 5:00pm October 23 from 8:00am – 5:00pm Certified Fiber Optics Specialist in Splicing (CFOS/S) $850 $283 October 24 from 8:00am – 5:00pm SRC is able to offer these courses at a discounted cost thanks to the ICCB Noncredit Workforce Training Grant. Classes will be held at the SRC Outreach Center located at 2500 East Jackson St. in Macomb and pre-registration is required.
