The Macomb High girls swim team placed fourth out of six teams in Saturday’s Panther Spring Invite hosted by United Township High School.
The Bombers finished with a team score of 162 points.
Rock Island H.S. topped the field with 291 points. Sterling H.S. was next with 247 points, followed by UTHS
(222), MHS, Morrison (157) and Geneseo (54).
Results for the Bombers included the following:
100-yard medley relay - MHS (Lily Goc, Lucy Buchanan, Hannah Zhang and Kallie Merrill), fourth, one minute, 13.32 seconds.
150 freestyle - Catlyn Cousins, ninth, 2:23.02; Ridley lewis, 10th,

The Bombers return to the pool Tuesday, facing the Olympia co-op and the PORTA co-op at Stanford.
On Oct. 11, the team returns to East Moline to swim in the Panther Invitational.
