The Rotary Club of Macomb gathered at Park Place on September 30 for its Fifth Tuesday Social and the official drawing of the Annual Cash Raffle. The raffle raises money to provide scholarships to local high school students—two to Western Illinois University and two to Spoon River College.
This year’s raffle winners are: - Mary Brookhart: $20,000 (kindly donated a portion back to the Rotary Club of Macomb) - Kaitlyn Moon: $2,500 - Steve Hall: $1,000 - Brad Hunt: $750 (kindly donated his winnings back to the club also) - Jake Green: $500 The social attracted a strong turnout, reflecting community support for the scholarships. The Rotary Club congratulates all winners and thanks everyone who purchased tickets to support this important cause.
