John H. Fuhr built this home in 1904 for Ross and Lutecia Pennington Miller.
The lot was purchased from Amelia (Stocker) and husband William C. Johnson for $750.00. The home was described as a modern 2 story, 6 room home with hall and bathroom plus basement. It had steam heat and the woodwork finish was cypress. The cost of construction of the dwelling was $3,300.00 and the barn which was 18 x 22 feet cost $260 in 1904. Ross Miller was a farmer and when he retired built this this home in Macomb. He was born on October 10, 1863 in Industry Township and died on September 4, 1945 in Macomb. This home still exists today.
