It’s creepy and it’s kooky. Mysterious and spooky. It’s all together ooky. It’s almost Halloween. And what better way to kick off the goosebump season than to make some art! Western Illinois University’s Department of Art and Design will host its monthly “First Wednesday” event this Wednesday, October 1, from 7-9 p.m., at Garwood Hall on campus.
Whether it’s venturing back in time to the medieval days where spooky monsters roam and you must scavenge your way to find the golden treasure, or you’re into drawing Halloween masks or making silkscreen fall-themed lanterns, there’s something for everyone!
Don’t walk, run - but not like a zombie - to see where your thrilling hands take you. But don’t worry, you’ll be home way before midnight, before the creatures of the night terrorize your neighborhood. For more information, visit the department’s Facebook page.
