The Macomb High girls golf team wrapped up its regular season Saturday with a third place finish in the 41st Annual Galesburg Streaks Invitational held at Bunker Links Municipal Golf Course.
The Bombers posted a team score of 373, finishing behind Moline (366) and Metamora (372).
Individually for the Bombers, Taylor Mann finished second overall out of 48 golfers. recording a score of 85 on the 5,302 yard par 71 layout.
Sophie Wilson carded a 94 to finish 13th. Reese Watson finished 15th with a 96, while Brenlee Tibbitts tied for 16th with a 98.
The team standings saw Quincy High finish fourth with a 376, followed by Orion (382), Geneseo (437), Galesburg (461) and Mercer County (483).
Kewanee High and Monmouth-Roseville did not field full squads.
Individual Moline’s Haley Robertson captured medalist honors shooting a 74.
Alexa Mosley of Quincy High was third with an 85, followed by Galesburg’s Addi Dulcie (85), Orion’s Evelyn Wilbur (87), Metamora’s Addie Mitchell (88), Orion’s Autumn Hoftender (89), Metamora’s Gillian Tyra (89), Geneseo’s Claire DeGrave (90) and Moline’s Allyn Fosbinder (91).
The Bombers will head to Valley View Club in Cambridge Tuesday morning for Illinois High School Association Class 1A Regional play.
