The Macomb High boys golf team wrapped up its regular season Friday and Saturday playing in a pair of tournaments.
On Friday, the Bombers headed to Normal for the University High Invitational held at the Weibring Golf Club on the Illinois State University campus.
The Bombers finished 14th out of 18 teams with a score of 331.
Ethan Dildine led the way for MHS, finishing 36th overall, carding a 78 on the 6,496 yard par 71 layout.
Luke Chapla was next for the Bombers with an 82, followed by Drew Taylor (83) and Eli Griffith (88).
The scores of Toby Royer (94) and Isaac Leinbach (96) did not count toward the team total.
Quincy Notre Dame won the team title, finishing with a five over par total of 289.
U-High (Gold) was next at 294, followed by O’Fallon (295), Belleville Althoff (300), Edwardville (302), Peoria Richwoods (304), East Peoria (306), Peoria Notre Dame (308), Wheaton St. Francis (310) and Champaign Central (311).
Waterloo was 11th (313), followed by Normal West (313), Sacred Heart-Griffin (320), Macomb, Lockport (336), Bloomington High (339), U-High (Green) (342) and Pontiac (342).
On Saturday, the Bombers headed to Bunker Links in Galesburg for the 51st Annual GHS Boys Golf Invitational.
MHS finished fourth out of seven teams with a score of 323.
Host Galesburg took top team honors with a score of 297.
Quincy Notre Dame was next at 298, followed by Quincy High (318), Macomb, Rock Island Alleman (343), Moline (355) and Abingdon-Avon (401).
Chapla led MHS with a ninth place finish, shooting 77.
Dildine was next with an 80, while Taylor and Leinbach both finished with 83s.
The scores of Royer (87) and Griffith (88) did not count toward the team total.
The Bombers and Macomb Country Club will now play host to an Illinois High School Association Class 2A Regional on Wednesday.
Joining the Bombers will be Canton, Dunlap, Galesburg, Illinois Valley Central (Chillicothe), Jacksonville H.S., Limestone (Bartonville), Lincoln and Quincy Notre Dame.
