The West Prairie High School volleyball squad downed host Camp Point Central 25-19, 24-26, and 25-17 in a non-conference contest played Thursday.
West Prairie improved to 9-10 on the season, while Central dropped to 2-10.
Stat leaders for the Cyclones were as follows: Service Points/Aces – Alyvia Barkley and Niah Zimmerman, five points each; Madelynn Sullivan, seven points with one service ace and Alexa Barkley, 10 points with one service ace.
Digs – Alyvia Barkley, nine and Sullivan, eight.
Kills – Niah Zimmerman, eight; Alexa Barkley, six; Jaycee Reynoso and Sullivan, four each.
Set Assists – Sullivan, 20. Stats from the 20-25, 25-20, 26-24 home loss to Elmwood back on Sept. 23 were as follows: Service Points/Aces – Abby Starbuck, seven points; Alexa Barkley, five points; Sullivan, two service aces and Macy Branch, 14 points, including three service aces.
Digs – Alyvia Barkley, eight; Niah Zimmerman, eight; Sullivan, nine and Starbuck, 10.
Kills – Alyvia and Alexa Barkley, 10 each and Niah Zimmerman, eight.
Set Assists – Sullivan, 31. The Cyclones have a busy week ahead that started with Monday’s home match against Mendon Unity.
The team will head to Payson-Seymour Wednesday before hosting Bushnell- Prairie City for a Prairieland South Division contest on Thursday.
