86, of Macomb
Marvin Eugene McClure, 86, of Macomb passed away at 4:50 a.m. Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at Wesley Village Healthcare Center in Macomb.
He was born on April 30, 1939 in Salem, Indiana to Sherod and Bessie Bolding McClure. He married Gloria Rodarmel on December 17, 1961 in Alfordsville, Indiana. She survives.
Also surviving are his children, Kent (Jackie) McClure of Martinsburg, West Virgina and Kimberley (Jim) McClure Sanders of Macomb; 5 grandchildren, Alexandra (Ed) Shefey, Andrea (Kara) McClure, Ashley (Mario) Mathews, Krysten (Alex) Dulyea and Eli McClure Sanders; 7 great-grandchildren; sisters, Shirley Gillenwater and Wanda Marble and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Kevin McClure; grandson, Kevin “Zeke” McClure and Vivian Brewer.
Marvin has lived in Macomb for the last 20 years. He was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church of Macomb. He enjoyed wood working and doing mechanical work on cars and enjoyed college and professional football.
He was an US Army veteran. He worked as a Missile Systems Instructor for the US Army for 24 years.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, October 3, 2025 at Wesley United Methodist Church in Macomb with Pastor Melly Momo officiating. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the church. Full military rites will be conducted at the church following the service by the Macomb American Legion and Macomb VFW.
