The West Prairie and Bushnell-Prairie City High School volleyball squads dropped home matches played Tuesday evening.
At Colchester, the Cyclones downed Elmwood 25-20 in the opening set of this Prairieland Conference crossover contest. But the visiting Trojans rallied to take the final two sets and the match 25-20, 26-24.
West Prairie slipped to 8-10 on the season, while Elmwood improved to 15-4.
The Cyclones headed to Camp Point Thursday to face Central (2-9) and will host Mendon Unity (14-3) Monday.
At Bushnell, in another Prairieland crossover contest, visiting Abingdon-Avon defeated B-PC 25-18, 25-17.
It was the first win for the Tornadoes (1-11), while the Spartans dropped to 0-8.
The Spartans return to the home floor next week to face Elmwood on Monday and Macomb (9-7) in a Prairieland Conference South Division match on Sept. 30.
