The Macomb High girls tennis team opened a new week Monday, dropping a 6-3 dual meet decision at Jacksonville to the host Crimsons.
Singles results were as follows:
No. 1 - Lucy Platt, Macomb defeated Finley York, Jacksonville H.S., 6-3, 6-0.
No. 2 - Sydney Hamm, Macomb defeated Abby White, Jacksonville H.S., 6-1, 6-3.
No. 3 - Leah Range, Jacksonville H.S. defeated Darah McFadden, Macomb, 7-5, 6-1.
No. 4 - Olivia Dobson, Jacksonville H.S. defeated Griffin Schauble, Macomb, 6-4, 6-1.
No. 5 - Addison Bainter, Macomb defeated Norah Alexander, Jacksonville H.S., 6-4, 7-6 (4).
No. 6 - Olivia Haverfield, Jacksonville H.S. defeated Sophie Hansen, Macomb, 6-4, 6-2.
Doubles results were as follows:
No. 1 - Range and Abby White, Jacksonville H.S. defeated Platt and Hamm, Macomb, 8-0.
No. 2 - Alexander and York, Jacksonville H.S. defeated McFadden and Schauble, Macomb, 8-4.
No. 3 - Dobson and Brooke White, Jacksonville H.S. defeated Bainter and Hansen, Macomb, 9-7.
On Wednesday, the Bombers celebrated senior day as they hosted Kewanee High.
The Bombers posted an 8-1 victory.

No. 4 - Schauble, Macomb defeated London Pettis, Kewanee H.S., 6-3, 6-1.
No. 5 - Bainter, Macomb defeated Avalynn Hughes, Kewanee H.S., 6-0, 6-0.
No. 6 - Ri Kaya Amos, Kewanee H.S. defeated Thea Granheim, Macomb, 6-4 , 6-4.

Back on Sept. 16, the Bombers posted a 9-0 win over Peoria High at Peoria.

No. 4 - Bainter, Macomb defeated Mee-ya McAfee-Rutherford, Peoria High, 8-0.
No. 5 - Hansen, Macomb defeated Camila Gonzalez, Peoria High, 8-0.
No. 6 - Isabella Gage, Macomb defeated Brooke Martinson, Peoria High, 8-0.

No. 3 - Gwen Severs and Sejal Sharma, Macomb defeated McAfee-Rutherford and Gabriella Buchanan, Peoria High, 8-0.
Macomb is now 9-5 on the season in dual meet competition.
The Bombers return to action next week, heading to Galesburg on Monday for varsity and JV action before hosting Quincy High on Tuesday afternoon.
