Bill Maakestad will perform live, traditional country music at The Wine Sellers, Friday, September 26th, starting at 5:30 p.m. Maakestad will be accompanied by Jim Betts on steel guitar, Randy Smith on fiddle, and Brett Dougherty on bass.
Admission is free, and all donations will benefit the Giving Gardens, a local non-profit organization that manages nine public- access gardens across McDonough county.
Please bring a chair, as seating is limited.
Maakestad, a frequent garden visitor and volunteer, shared his enthusiasm for the cause: “I’ve lived in Macomb for over 40 years, and I think the Giving Gardens has the potential to be the most exciting and impactful project ever to serve all residents of our community. It deserves all the support we can give it.”
