Who Needs ICE

Immigration has not been fixed, per sa, because corporations and the wealthy do not want it fixed. Let’s begin to address this. If we held accountable the business owners that employed and/or enslaved undocumented workers, the system would be fixed immediately. The reason it is not is because many corporations lobby to keep immigration reform halted and “unfixable”. The system needs to stay this way for profits; cheap vulnerable labor is what this country was built on. Thomas Jefferson preached Liberty, but we know now this was to be liberty for wealthy white male landowners, not poor white landowners, and certainly not for women or slaves. Liberty was parasitic. The white landowners had liberty to use and abuse land not their own, people who they purchased for labor, and run out of town anyone who rose up against them. Jefferson preached small government but used it to squash small farmers that rose up when affected to the point of ruin by his policies. Native Americans were set up to be ever in debt to white folk, with the plan to confiscate lands in the name of “debt owed” to the white man. Women…we all know how that is going.
To this day, the federal government rarely holds employers criminally accountable for hiring undocumented people. Enforcing immigration has been a waste of time and tax dollars for far too long. It is time to hold the employer accountable. Time to right some of the wrongs that plague us from the inception of this country. It is time to ICE employers.
