Members of the Macomb High girls tennis team headed to Galesburg Saturday to take part in tournament competition.
Macomb finished play with three wins in one round of play before the rest of the day was washed out by rain.
Geneseo had five wins, including the only second round match completed.
Rock Island Alleman, United Township and McHenry all recorded two wins with Galesburg and East Peoria posting one win apiece.
Singles results for the Bombers included the following: No. 1 - Sydney Hamm, Macomb defeated Ying Chen, Galesburg H.S., 6-0, 6-0.
No. 2 - Darah McFadden, Macomb defeated Sophie Vazquez, McHenry, 6-3, 6-1.
Doubles results included the following: No. 1 - Griffin Schauble and Lucy Platt, Macomb defeated Kaitlyn McAuliffe and Briana Freund, McHenry, 6-4, 6-0.
No. 2 - Hannah Andrews and Madison Vrana, Rock Island Alleman defeated Addison Bainter and Sophie Hansen, Macomb, 6-7 (4), 6-4, 10-6.
The Bombers were slated to head to Jacksonville Monday to face Jacksonville High at Illinois College.
On Wednesday, the Bombers will host Kewanee High for varsity and JV play.
