The Macomb High girls tennis team returned to action Monday afternoon, recording an 8-1 victory over host Palmyra, Mo.
Singles results were as follows:
No. 1 - Lucy Platt, Macomb defeated Emily Comer, Palmyra, 8-3.
No. 2 - Sydney Hamm, Macomb defeated Marissa Gottman, Palmyra, 8-0.
No. 3 - Darah McFadden, Macomb defeated Emma Clark, Palmyra, 8-4.
No. 4 - Addison Bainter, Macomb defeated Xin Ni, Palmyra, 8-3.
No. 5 - Sophie Hansen, Macomb defeated Kaitlyn Bode, 8-8, 7-5.
No. 6 - Lisa Johnson, Palmyra defeated Isabella Gage, Macomb, 8-4.
Doubles results were as follows:
No. 1 - Platt and Hamm, Macomb def. Comer and Gottman, Palmyra, 8-3.
No. 2 - McFadden and Bainter, Macomb defeated Clark and Ni, Palmyra, 8-6.
No. 3 - Gage and Hansen, Macomb defeated Bode and Johnson, Palmyra, 8-6.
On Tuesday, the Bombers headed to Peoria facing host Peoria High.
Macomb notched a 9-0 dual meet victory, improving to 8-4 on the season.

The Bombers head to galesburg Saturday to play in the Streaks Invitational at Art Fish Courts.
On Monday, the team will head to Jacksonville to face Jacksonville High at Illinois College.
