The Macomb High girls golf squad returned to action Wednesday at Gold Hills, facing Quincy Notre Dame in a Ryder Cup Match.
The teams played on the par 35 front nine. The format was as followed: Holes 1-3 - modified best score Holes 4-6 - scramble Holes 7-9 - modified alternate shot Both teams counted the three lowest scores with QND posting a 105-118 victory.
Five teams posted a score of 35. Those team included the following: Brenlee Tibbitts and Sophie Wilson of Macomb Belle Boudreau and Georgia Wisslead of QND Natalie Druffel and Catherine Knuffman of QND Nancy Scholz and Ida Hermsmeier of QND Olivia Scholz and Caroline Knuffman QND Other scores for the Bombers included the following: Reese Watson, Taylor Mann and Grace O’Hern (37) Mullen Butcher and Aubrey Holthaus (46) Elise Sullivan and Destiny Buckner (48) The Bombers return to action Saturday, hosting the annual Macomb Invitational at Gold Hills.
The team will then host Havana, Rockridge and Monmouth United Monday, also at Gold Hills.
