On Saturday, the Carthage junior high girls’ softball team (7th and 8th graders) captured the Regional championship with a win over Liberty by a final score of 8-6. The team improves to an impressive 13-4 on the season and will face Brown County at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday in Griggsville-Perry.
